if i were a super genius.

five things i would invent if i were a super genius:

1. good book finder
(a metal detector type-deal that starts beeping really loud when you come a cross an interesting book. it should probably have headphones in case you are in a library because i don't like people giving me the stink eye.)

2. icecream chips
(made out of waffle cone batter...shaped like a chip. you'd have to soften the icecream so the waffle chips wouldn't break, but this is only a slight drawback.)

3. insta-change
(a pill that changes the natural color of your hair.)

4. personal genie
(not that i could really invent a genie...but i would still like to have one. this would defeat the purpose of being a super genius with the power to invent anything i want...but oh, well.)

5. dream drink
(it would look like a soda fountain...but it would magically know exactly what you want to drink and give it to you on the spot)

daddy.

lately, i have been thinking of how grateful i am for my father. how much he has done for me. things i don't really think of as out of the ordinary. however, the more i look around...the more i see how incredible he is/has been.

it's mostly the little things. his ability to make anyone feel better, no matter what the situation may be. his love for animals. the way stupid TV commercials make him laugh so hard. his silly pictures. chips ahoy cookies and peanut butter roll-ups. hot dogs from the pantry. johnny bravo.
